Standard de Liège and Aleksandar JANKOVIC have decided in concert to end their cooperation.

The negative results have led to the necessary conclusions with both parties. 

The successor will be known before the start of the preparation of next season.

In anticipation of our new trainer José JEUNECHAMPS will take over the tasks of our ex-trainer. He is assisted by Eric DEFLANDRE, Luigi PIERONI, Philippe VANDE WALLE and our physical staff Kevin MINY and Dorian DEFLANDRE.

The trainer from Liège returns to Standard after his first passage at the banks of the Meuse between 2007 and 2012, When he successfully leaded the U21 of the Rouches and when he assisted Tomislav IVIC, Dominique D’ONOFRIO, Laszlo BÖLÖNI and Michel PREUD’HOMME.

Afterwards he will be the successor of Alexandre CHTELINE at the head of the U21-team.

Thierry VERJANS will leave the staff of the first team so he can fully focus on the management of our training center.
